Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CadreSports (the "Platform"), a multi-sport league and tournament management service for organising and participating in badminton, football, and other sports leagues. By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Platform, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

2. Accounts and Authentication

Accounts are created and accessed using your mobile phone number and a one-time password (OTP) delivered via WhatsApp or SMS. You are responsible for maintaining control of the phone number and device associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. You agree not to share your OTP with anyone.

3. Roles and Responsibilities

The Platform supports several roles, including players, team captains, tournament operators, and administrators. Each role carries different permissions and responsibilities:

• Players register for leagues, participate in matches, and maintain accurate profile information.
• Team captains manage their team rosters and submit lineups in good faith.
• Tournament operators create and run leagues, schedule ties and matches, and enter scores accurately and fairly.
• Administrators oversee the Platform and may take action to enforce these Terms.

4. Leagues, Tournaments, and Registrations

Leagues and tournaments are organised by operators on the Platform. When you register for a league, you agree to abide by the specific rules, schedules, eligibility requirements, and any fees set by the relevant operator. Registration may be subject to capacity, registration windows, and approval. CadreSports facilitates these activities but is not responsible for the conduct of individual operators, teams, or players, or for the outcome of any match or standing.

5. Code of Conduct and Fair Play

You agree to compete and conduct yourself fairly and respectfully. You must not: submit false scores, lineups, or results; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or skill level; or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose. We may remove content, restrict participation, or suspend accounts that violate this code.

6. Communications and Notifications

By providing your phone number and consenting where prompted, you agree to receive transactional and service messages — such as OTPs, match reminders, standings updates, and registration confirmations — via WhatsApp, SMS, or in-app notifications. You may manage certain notification preferences in your profile. OTP and security messages are required to use the Platform and cannot be disabled.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the information and content you submit, such as your profile details and team information. By submitting content, you grant CadreSports a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and use it for the purpose of operating the Platform — for example, showing your name in lineups, standings, and match results visible to other participants.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, logos, and content (other than user content), is owned by CadreSports and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

9. Assumption of Risk and Disclaimers

Participation in sports and physical activity carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury. You participate in any league, match, or event at your own risk and are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit to do so. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CadreSports and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising out of your participation in sports activities or your use of the Platform.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or the Platform. You may stop using the Platform at any time and request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
